Take this opportunity to slow down, de-stress + rejuvenate your mind and body!
Restorative yoga uses props to support the body in positions of openness and ease to facilitate healing and relaxation. Studies have consistently demonstrated that restorative yoga lowers blood pressure, improves sleep, eases anxiety, stimulates metabolism, boosts the immune system, and promotes wellness! This series of classes will include mindful movement, breathing exercies, and tension releasing supported poses. Each week, in addition to addressing the full body, we will focus on a specific area of tension. Come and join me for a unique experience. If you are unable to attend the series, drop-ins are welcome!
Open to all - accessible to all - injuries accommodated.

Lorrie began her yoga journey in 2000 searching for inner peace and balance, with Tony Rivers in the Iyengar tradition. To her teacher she is eternally grateful for nurturing the seeds of courage, peace and strength. She completed her 200 hour teacher training with Cleandra Martin-Waldron and Edwin Bergman and became certified in Restorative Yoga (with Jillian Pransky, YogaWorks, NYC), which has provided an understanding of the subtle body. Love of yoga allowed her to bring yoga to the Tiffany Mills Dance Company of New York, NY, where she chaired the performance, Yoga Meets Modern Dance, which explored the ancient practice of yoga and its influence and impact on today's modern style interpretive dance.
